Your Group. No Strangers. A Fully Private Tour.

Private does not mean small group. It means your group, and only your group, for the entire day.

Your vehicle is reserved for your party alone. No other travelers are picked up at other hotels. Your certified English or Spanish guide focuses entirely on your group at Chichen Itza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. At El Castillo and the Temple of Warriors, you move at your own pace, spending as long as you want at each structure without a group timetable cutting the experience short.

Standard and VIP Premium, Two Private Options

Both tours are 100% exclusive to your group. The choice between them comes down to departure time, dining, and which cenote experience suits your group best.

What Travelers Say

4.9 / 5 from 3,247 travelers

We almost did not do this. My husband kept saying the group tour was fine, it was cheaper, we would still see everything. What we would not have had was our guide stopping at the Sacred Cenote and spending fifteen minutes just talking to our kids about the Mayan calendar. Our daughter is eleven and she came home and did a school project on it.

Booked Standard for two people. Pickup was punctual, vehicle was clean and cold, exactly what you need for a long drive in the Yucatan. The guide spoke perfect English and was clearly passionate about Mayan history. Already recommended this to three other couples.

VIP Premium tour. The early departure is worth it. We were at the pyramid with almost no one else for the first hour. El Patio de Mi Casa for lunch was the other highlight. Real food, small place, completely authentic.

Four adults, two teenagers who were convinced this was going to be boring. By the time we got to El Castillo the teenagers were asking our guide questions we did not even think to ask. The stop at Cenote Nool Ha was the moment that won everyone over.

Organized everything over WhatsApp in about ten minutes. The tour delivered exactly what it promised: private vehicle, private guide, no strangers. The Valladolid stop on the way back was a bonus we had not planned for.

We were skeptical about the price compared to group tours. Then we actually did it and understood immediately. The entire pace of the day is yours. We stopped for photos whenever we wanted.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Chichen Itza private tour?

A private Chichen Itza tour means only your group travels together. No strangers are added to your vehicle or your guided experience. Your guide is assigned to your group alone, and the pace of the entire day is set by you.

Is a private tour of Chichen Itza worth it?

If you are traveling as a family, a couple, or a small group of friends, a private tour gives you complete control over the day. The per-person cost can be very close to a group tour once you have three or more people, and the experience is incomparably different.

What is included in a private Chichen Itza trip?

Both Standard and VIP Premium tours include: roundtrip transportation in a private air-conditioned vehicle, hotel pickup and drop-off, a certified private guide in English or Spanish, Chichen Itza entrance ticket, cenote access, a meal, and bottled water.

How much does a Chichen Itza private tour cost?

The Standard tour starts at $890 total for 1-2 travelers. The VIP Premium tour starts at $920 total for 1-2 travelers. Both are priced per group, not per person.

What is the difference between Standard and VIP Premium?

Standard departs at 6:30 or 7:00 AM, includes Cenote Nool Ha, lunch at a Mayan village buffet, and an optional Valladolid stop. VIP Premium departs at 6:00 AM for early access, includes a hidden cave cenote and lunch at El Patio de Mi Casa.

Do you pick up from hotels?

Yes. Hotel pickup is included from Cancun, Tulum, and Playa del Carmen. No meeting point, no surcharge. Confirm your hotel address at booking via WhatsApp.

Is there a minimum group size?

No. We run private tours for solo travelers, couples, families, and larger groups. Pricing adjusts per group size. There is no minimum.

Are your guides certified?

Yes. All guides on both Standard and VIP Premium tours are certified and available in English or Spanish. Specify your language preference when booking.

Can I request a custom itinerary?

The core itinerary (ruins, cenote, meal) is fixed to ensure quality and timing. However, your guide adapts the on-site experience to your group's interests.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel 72 or more hours before departure for a full refund. Cancel between 24 and 72 hours for a 50% refund. Cancellations under 24 hours are non-refundable.
